II. - The Selection -
Alright you know where you are going, what you are looking for, and how much you can spend. Now we can consider shopping for the home of your dreams.
Things to consider in this phase of your journey:
1st Start the search. Pull out the descriptions of the house you need, the amount the lenders have authorized, and general destination.
- How to Find a Home in Today's Market-
2nd Take a look at the listings your Agent Returns with on the Web. There are several websites on the internet that work with the Multiple Listing Service to showcase Real Estate. Simply enter a site, type in the MLS number and see for yourself. Finish developing a list of homes that you would like to look at in person.
3rd Start Shopping for mortgages. At this point your agent should have started your loan shopping with you. You should weigh your options including large and small down payments versus interest rates and payments. Remember to make a budget you can live with for years to come.

- Differences Between Being Pre-Approved and Pre-Qualified For Loans-
4th Have your Agent pick you up and go shopping. Now is the time to pull out that list of things you liked and wanted to see.
