These unique gold mine & ghost town tours offer you a
chance to go down 1,000 feet in the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine
and step into the boots of the 1890's hard rock miner. You
will ride the man-skip down to the 10th level and walk through
time as your tour guide explains the 100-year-old mine and
it's heritage. Next board a modern shuttle and learn about
the mine with a rich past and promising future - the famous
Cresson Gold Mine operated by Victor Gold Mining Company.

The single largest surface gold mine in the state, the Cresson
Mine currently is extracting 225,000 ounces of gold annually.
Using surface techniques to remove the gold ore, and modernizing
leaching methods developed in the district in the late 1890's,
Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mining Company has brought new
life to the Cresson Mine. These tours peruse through the largest
concentration of ghost towns and old gold mines in the state.
