The Flying W Ranch is just north of the Garden of the Gods
in Colorado Springs. In its typical western setting, it exemplifies
the old western life, its chuckwagon suppers and its traditional
brand of western entertainment.
Arrive at the ranch early for supper, and enjoy the old western
town of over a dozen completely restored buildings, most of
which are furnished with authentic contents of the 1800's
and early 1900's, and other authentic memorabilia of the old
west. Eat here and watch our famous stage show. By the time
the singing and stories start you'll be sure your visit to
the flying w ranch will be the highlight of your trip to Colorado.
Private chuckwagon supers. Breakfasts and lunches are available
year round by special arrangement, and all meals include our
great stage show.
Chuckwagon Suppers
The Flying W Chuckwagon Suppers originated in 1953 when an
evening's crowd of twenty considered outstanding! Many nights
during the first year there were more cowboys than customers.
However, the growing popularity of an evening under the stars
esting the great food typical of the fare cowboys enjoyed
from the chuckwagon, and the singing and entertainment in
the firelight drew increasingly larger crowds to the Flying
W. Now over one hundred thousand people attend chuckwagon
suppers each year. Over 1,400 people can be seated outside,
and in case of inclement weather, 1,400 people may be seated
inside and kept toasty warm.
